The Stakeholders
Before discussing how you can make a difference, it is important to establish who the stakeholders for the health of the Albemarle Sound are. You may think it is only the farmers whose runoff makes it into nearby waters or only the people who live on the water; however, it is actually everyone.
All the individuals who live near the water, on the water, drink the water, and love our rivers, sounds, and oceans must remember that an empty body of murky water is no place to be. If you live in this watershed, you have the opportunity to help make a difference.
